So, I mentioned I might want to photograph my house and my life in said house for my thesis project.
Here’s a shot I took to use up one of the last photos on a roll of film. Not as happy with the composition as I would have liked, but it’s an idea of how I might shoot this series, if I do it.

January 5th with 13 notes | reblogSomething on my 50mm f/1.8 is broken. I’m getting the f/EE error, even though I have the apature ring turned and locked on the smallest apature setting.
Tomorrow, I’ll be shooting the fashion spread for G&B all day. My 50mm is my favorite, but luckilly, I have a vintage 50mm f/1.4 of my professors that I’m borrowing. The only problem is, with these shoots, auto focus can come in handy. AND THAT MY LENS AINT WORKIN, Y’ALL.
If anyone else has had a problem like this, help a girl out with some wisdom?

Here’s the camera I’m borrowing and going to be shooting some portraits for my project with. A little nervous about not having an optical view finder, but I AM a Holga lover, so this should be a happy medium.
This was shot with the Nikkor 50mm f/ 1.4
I shoot with a 1.8 and, until now, did not realize the huge difference between the two. LIKE, CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT HOW FAST IT IS? I’m in love. The setting of this photo is was a LOT darker than it looks here.
