University Awards Day was thursday, and of course my mom was there taking photos.
Can we just talk about how it looks like I just planted a bomb at the podium and am sneaking away with shifty eyes? hahahahaha

Here’s my mock up for my graduation announcements! I didn’t want to spend stupid amounts of money on announcements everyone and their brother will be ordering/sending, and I wanted mine to have some personality and humor.(and a slight hint to send me monies)
Exactly two months from today… I’ll have graduated. WHAT?!
(ps. Please don’t mind the kerning and leading, I haven’t fixed it all up yet.)

edit: Oops. I meant 9:30.

A fellow photo student, Jennifer Haggerty, wrote a blog about my work that’s currently up at McMaster and that will be up in Tapp’s in February. And to say the least, it made my day. Or week. Or some span of time. I’m so flattered!!! I’m starting to think that maybe I shouldn’t start something new for my thesis work.

IT’S HERE!!! Click the cover to read our Winter 2011 ONLINE ONLY issue!
I didn’t get home until 2:30 last night and didn’t hear my alarm if it went off, and missed a critique this morning. WORTH IT.

I lived here a little over a year ago, and luckilly it never flooded like this. 5 pts usually floods a few times a summer, though.
The two times I went out today, I completely missed the flooding everywhere around the area of Columbia that I live. I was out before the storm, and then after. I was wondering why streets were blocked off… only to come home and see photos posted.
WELP! I’m just glad my car wasn’t a victim, and I wish I could have gotten to take some photos.

So, I’m not a huge sports fanatic… but THE GAMECOCKS WON THE COLLEGE WORLD SERIES FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!!! This rules, guys.
For our first issue of the Fall 2010 term, Garnet & Black did a spread on NCAA MVP, Jackie Bradley Jr. which I got to shoot. Pictured is a behind the scenes photo of me shooting the cover photo.
To see the entire spread, click HERE!
